Chants, car horns, and music filled the air as dozens of protesters lined Boy Scout Drive and U.S. 41 Wednesday night, holding signs and waving flags in opposition to ongoing immigration raids.
Many say they fear for their loved ones as federal and state efforts to remove undocumented immigrants ramp up.
"I have family that are scared and, you know, they're in fear," protestor Ashley Alfaro Cardenas said.
The demonstration comes as local law firms confirm that immigration enforcement actions are already taking place in the area.
