A man was arrested in Northeast Cape Coral on Tuesday after being accused of sexual battery on a minor.
According to the Cape Coral Police Department, officers responded to a home that later became an investigation for a sexual battery offense.
CCPD states that Guilherme Dos Santos Pereira, 29, sexually battered a minor. The police department states Dos Santos Pereira was not related to the victim.
A search warrant was issued for his arrest, and members of the United States Marshals Service Florida Caribbean Regional Fugitive Task Force, Fort Myers Office, located and arrested Dos Santos Pereira.
He was taken to the Lee County Jail.
Dos Santos Pereira was charged with one count of lewd or lascivious battery, victim age 12 to 16.
