A Naples man was arrested after being accused of stealing a purse that was left in a shopping cart on Saturday.
According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office, the victim was putting her items in her car at the Costco along Naples Boulevard.
The woman left her shopping cart in front of her car and drove away.
She later realized she left her purse in her cart and contacted law enforcement.
The victim's purse had a large amount of cash inside, along with her phone, credit cards, social security card and other personal identification.
Detectives reviewed the store security video, which showed a yellow/orange Jeep Wrangler waiting for the victim to unload her groceries and park in her spot when she left.
The driver put the purse in their car before driving away.
Detectives were led to Wilson Belizaire, 33, by using public traffic cameras and other resources.
Belizaire agreed to meet with detectives and was arrested for grand theft.
