A deadly crash involving a semitrailer closes southbound lanes of Interstate 75 at Mile Marker 147 in northern Lee County Friday afternoon ahead of peak rush hour.
The Florida Highway Patrol's traffic site shows crews were dispatched at 3:48 p.m. Troopers said the crash involved a semitrailer and a vehicle.
Southbound I-75 traffic is being diverted at the Mile Marker 158. All northbound lanes remain open.
FHP said an update will be provided with more details on the crash.
