Detectives are searching for a Fort Myers woman accused of violating probation following an arrest for living in a storage unit with her kids.
Sadie Pearsey, 37, was reportedly arrested after a woman notified police about a suspected woman living in a storage unit with her two kids.
When police arrived on the scene, officers said they found Pearsey's children, along with a loaded semi-automatic pistol on her car's passenger seat and drugs in the ashtray.
Pearsey spent one month in jail, according to the press release, before being released on 24 months of probation.
Law enforcement said she has since violated her probation terms after cutting off communication with her probation officer.
Pearsey is reportedly a repeat offender with 15 priors since the age of 16 for theft, battery, illegal use of credit cards and for the sale and delivery of drugs.
Pearsey is said to be 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighs 220 pounds and has a tattoo of praying hands on her left thigh and the phrase "Laugh now, cry later" written on her right thigh.
