Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers are searching for a Lehigh Acres man accused of violating probation on theft and uttering forged check charges.
Kevin Horton, 55, was reportedly issued a warrant for his arrest after he failed to show up to court following an arrest for theft and uttering forged checks.
According to reports, Horton stole a check from his former roommate, then made it payable to cash for a few hundred dollars and deposited it into his own account.
Officials say Horton was in jail in Broward County on other charges at the time and then in prison for several years. Once Horton was released, he was charged locally.
Documents say Horton is 6 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs 230 pounds, and could be using the aliases of Nico Horton or Shawn Townsend to avoid arrest.
