Construction of a new housing community broke ground on Golden Gate Parkway in Collier County Tuesday morning.
The development by STYXCO and DeAngelis Diamond is described as a premier attainable housing community designed to meet the growing need for quality workforce housing.
The Teale - Golden Gate is located at 4100 Golden Gate Parkway. The developers will convert the former Quality Inn and Suite Golf Resort into apartments.
The development will consist of 215 studio apartments with 22.8% of apartment income restricted at 80%-100% of Annual median income, and all apartments rent restricted at HUD's rent limits for workforce housing.
