Super Bowl week is filled with numerous festivities, but this year, things are kicking up a notch.
New Orleans will be hosting its record-tying 11th Super Bowl as the Philadelphia Eagles take on the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs seeking a historic three-peat.
With the festivities comes an inaugural event, Hearst Television is broadcasting the New Orleans Super Bowl Host Committee Parade.
Watch the Mardi-Gras-style celebration parade on Gulf Coast NBC (WBBH-TV) Saturday, Feb. 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The parade will feature NFL-themed floats created by Carnival legend Barry Kern of Kern Studios, marching bands, local dance troupes and cultural groups, all designed to highlight the city’s unique spirit.
Paradegoers can look forward to signature throws, including branded beads and plush footballs, as well as a star-studded lineup of celebrity guests and athletes. Louisiana’s own Todd Graves will reign as the king of the parade.
