A man is wanted after violating his probation after serving time for resisting an officer and driving with a suspended/revoked license.
According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, Michael Medina, 31, was driving on a busy Lee County road at about 125 mph in a 55 mph zone.
When they pulled him over, Medina said he didn’t have a license on him, which troopers quickly learned was because he had been suspended indefinitely 10 times before.
SWFL Crime Stoppers said Medina became agitated and launched a barrage of derogatory names at the officer while physically resisting arrest.
After serving his time behind bars and pleading guilty, Medina was placed on probation, which he violated in mid-January.
Medina is a repeat offender, with a dozen priors in Lee and Collier counties for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, battery, drugs, burglary, armed robbery and parole violations, coupled with jail time in Louisiana.
He is 5 feet, 6 inches tall, weighs 170 pounds, and could be moving back and forth between Immokalee and East Fort Myers attempting to avoid arrest.
