It's going to be another beautiful weekend!
We start the morning off with some patchy fog in a few neighborhoods, mainly inland. However, that will lift out quickly, and we will be left with mostly sunny skies through late morning and the afternoon.
With all the sunshine, temperatures will climb quickly!
We will be flirting with record-breaking heat with highs in the mid-80s and muggy conditions. Along the coast, the sea breeze will keep us a little cooler in the upper 70s and low 80s.
Over the next week, highs will be in the low-to-mid 80s, with mornings in the 60s. For Valentine's Day, temperatures will stay warm in the 80s, with lows only in the 60s.
A weak cold front may try to work into the region on Valentine's Day but is unlikely to pull through. This may trigger a few spotty showers, but not enough to relieve our region from drought.
