An Immokalee man was arrested after being accused of pointing a gun at two women from his car while saying, "Pow! Pow!"
Pedro Reyes Soriano, 22, is facing multiple aggravated assault charges after being arrested by Collier County Sheriff's Office deputies on Tuesday.
The victim reported the incident to the agency before meeting with deputies in the parking lot of a nearby gas station.
According to the arrest report, the victim told deputies that she and a passenger were driving south on N 15th Street when they noticed a car tailing closely behind them with no lights on.
The victim said they attempted to signal to the driver that their lights were off before Soriano went into the center turning lane. Once in the center lane, the victim said she could see a pistol in Soriano's hand pointing toward their car.
The arrest report said the victims claimed they heard Soriano saying, "Pow! Pow!" while pointing the gun.
Detectives began investigations based on the vehicle description the victims provided.
Deputies said they identified a car that matched the description and made a traffic stop near Immokalee Drive and N 9th Street around 20 minutes after the initial incident.
Detectives showed the victims the driver of the car they pulled over and they were able to identify him as Soriano.
Soriano was arrested and is facing two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.
