A man was arrested for stalking a 12-year-old girl at an apartment complex.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, troopers were flagged down by the girl's father on Ortiz Avenue and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Fort Myers on Wednesday.
He told troopers that a man was harassing and attempting to lure his daughter at their apartment complex.
FHP troopers identified the suspect as Thomas Karba, a 37-year-old man out of California.
According to the FHP, Karba had prior run-ins with the law for attempted rape, kidnapping and assault.
Karba was arrested for loitering and prowling, stalking, and luring/enticing a child. He was booked into the Lee County Jail.
