Hooters of Naples has added a new selection of books to a lending library in Bonita Springs. We're getting a closer look at the books in Positively Gulf Coast.
Madalyn Takala works at the Naples Hooters. She recently visited the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation Cancer Clinic at the Bonita Community Health Center. Her mission was to deliver a new selection of books for the Hooters lending library cart. This gives patients a new selection to choose from during treatment.
Every month the restaurant donates hundreds of books to the selection at each of the partnering hospitals and clinics.
“Our employees look forward to being a part of our monthly visits. We created the Hootie’s Lending Library program to provide books for kids and adults to read when they are in the hospital and every month, we are always adding more books, word searches and other essentials to the selections in Southwest Florida,” said South Florida Hooters Director of Marketing Kristi Quarles.
