Budget airline Allegiant has launched a new nonstop service between Punta Gorda Airport and Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport, offering travelers an affordable option for flights between Southwest Florida and Tennessee.
According to the airline, the new route will operate up to twice weekly.
The airline’s chief commercial officer, Drew Wells, said the expansion is part of a broader effort to connect passengers to their favorite destinations while maintaining a focus on affordability and convenience.
“We are excited to begin connecting Punta Gorda and Chattanooga with Allegiant’s unique brand of ultra-low-cost, all-nonstop flights,” Wells said in a statement. “Allegiant is committed to providing convenient, affordable flights paired with an exceptional customer experience.”

James Parish, CEO of Punta Gorda Airport, said he looks forward to welcoming travelers from Chattanooga to the area’s waterfront attractions and outdoor activities.
