West Palm Beach Fire Rescue Chief Diana Matty is advising anyone in the Flamingo Park area with breathing issues to turn off the air conditioning, keep the doors and windows shut, and shelter in place.
Matty says this morning's fog is keeping the smoke down in the area.
The fire started around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday in a two-story commercial building that formerly housed the Jack the Bike Man shop .
They own the warehouse, but according to him, it mostly contains random items. However, they’re worried because their main building is directly connected to the burning warehouse.
Matty said 75 firefighters have been working on the scene for several hours. There are no injuries, and they are unsure of the cause as the fire is still under investigation.
