The Barron Collier boys soccer team made history by winning its first state championship on Friday.
The Cougars ended their storybook season with a 4-2 victory over Mater Lakes in the Class 4A Title Game.
This was also Barron Collier's first time making it to the finals and they finished the season with a 20-2 record.
