Firefighters responded to a fire on Elwood Road near San Carlos Park Friday morning, prompting road closures off US-41.
Smoke was visible from the scene, but officials have not confirmed what was burning or if there were any injuries.
Estero Fire Rescue crews blocked off Elwood Road while working to contain the fire.
Drivers on US-41 are still able to travel through the area without disruption.
Florida Power & Light was also present, though power along US-41 remained on.
Authorities have not released information on the cause of the fire or if anyone was injured.
