The Florida Highway Patrol arrested a Texas man who is reportedly wanted for murder and other felony warrants.
Troopers said they saw a man, identified as Angel Kelly Alejandro, 27, walking north on I-75 in Collier County on Thursday.
FHP said Alejandro initially told troopers that his name was Ricardo before providing his true identity.
According to FHP's press release, troopers ran a warrant check on Alejandro which revealed that he is a fugitive from Texas.
Alejandro is reportedly wanted on the following charges:
- Child sex contact
- Possession with intent to promote child pornography
- Murder
Alejandro was arrested and taken to the Collier County Jail where he is awaiting extradition back to Texas.
