A man was accused of making unwanted sexual advances while working at a location in Naples.
On Friday, Feb. 21, the victim told Naples police that their supervisor, Jose Guadalupe Cruz Contreras, made unwanted sexual advances.
According to the Naples Police Department, the victim said Contreras, 60, made unwanted sexual contact while at the location on a previous date. The victim also said Contreras exposed his penis and touched them inappropriately.
The victim told police that on Friday, Contreras instructed the victim to work on tasks within the workplace location.
According to the NPD news release, Contreras closed the door and blocked a viewing port after the victim entered the location.
The victim said Contreras blocked the exit, making the victim feel like they were not free to leave. Contreras reportedly attempted to solicit sex from the victim in exchange for gifts.
After the victim declined Contreras' advances, he attempted to forcefully touch them sexually, NPD said.
Contreras was arrested and taken to the Naples Jail Center on Saturday, Feb. 22. He is facing charges of false imprisonment, unnatural/lascivious act and battery.
