A Collier County Sheriff's Office sergeant is the Florida VFW Law Enforcement Officer of the year. He's making an impact on the community in Positively Gulf Coast.
It’s Sgt. Johnny Cisnero. The sheriff's office said Golden Gate Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7721 recommended him for the award. It recognizes outstanding contributions and achievements in law enforcement.
CCSO said Sgt. Cisnero is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He joined the sheriff's office in 2003. CCSO said he's known for his commitment to the youth in the community and taking illegal drugs out of the community.
“Sgt. Cisnero’s hard work, dedication and commitment to law enforcement have had long-lasting positive impacts on the citizens of Collier County and he continues every day to inspire those around him,” Sheriff Kevin Rambosk said in a CCSO Facebook post.
