LCSO investigating death after a body is recovered from the Caloosahatchee River

CAPE CORAL, Fla. — The Lee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a death near the Midpoint Bridge.

A body was found in the Caloosahatchee River around 11 a.m.

It's not clear yet how the person died or if foul play is a factor.
