The 7th Annual PRIDE Cape Coral Festival will take over downtown Cape Coral Saturday for a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community.
The two-day event will run on Saturday and Sunday with a packed lineup of performances, entertainment and community spirit.
On Saturday, the festival kicks off at 3 p.m., with the opening of the Vendor Village and a performance by Collaboration Band. Following that, the parade will begin at 4:30 p.m., making its way through the streets of downtown.
The day will continue with live entertainment on the Big Stage, along with street performers, from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Among the highlights of the festival will be a headline performance by Trinity "The Tuck" Taylor, a fan favorite from RuPaul's Drag Race .
Additionally, Jai Rodriguez, star of the original Queer Eye , will make a special appearance during the parade and perform later in the evening.
DJ Mad Mel will have the music, and there will be dazzling performances from both local and national drag entertainers, all hosted by the charismatic Axel Andrews.
For those wanting a closer experience with the stars, VIP and regular Meet & Greet tickets are available for purchase.
The festivities continue on Sunday with the PRIDE Brunch in the Street at 11 a.m. Attendees can enjoy a delicious brunch along with live entertainment starting at 11:30 a.m.
A drink is included with each brunch ticket, and seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are limited, so those interested are encouraged to purchase them soon.
