A man was arrested after being accused of slamming his truck into a Fort Myers business while under the influence.
The Fort Myers Police Department responded to the scene on Hendry Street, near MLK Jr. Boulevard, in downtown Fort Myers.
FMPD said a man tried to pay a witness to get him away from the scene after crashing his truck. Police said the man is now in custody.
Fort Myers fire crews said it was a single-vehicle crash and they do not believe there were any injuries resulting from the crash.
