The Gulf Coast Storm Team is tracking a line of rain and storms that will spread through beginning late Monday morning through the mid-afternoon.
Along with the rain, expect a pretty windy day.
Ahead of the front, winds will ramp up through the morning. Wind speeds will range from 10 to 20 mph, with gusts potentially above 35 mph.
The overall threat for severe storms will be low across the Gulf Coast, but a few strong storms can't be ruled out.
After the rain exits by 3 to 4 p.m., you'll notice a rush of cooler and drier air this evening.
We'll wake up to some pretty chilly temperatures Tuesday as lows drop into the mid-50s.
Tuesday afternoon will be quite refreshing with highs back in the upper 70s, and we'll see a gradual warmup through the remainder of the week.
