Florida Highway Patrol confirmed one man had died after a crash in Hendry County Monday night.
Troopers were dispatched to the scene near Port LaBelle at 8:56 p.m. Troopers arrived on scene three minutes later.
FHP said a 51-year-old LaBelle man was driving an SUV east on SR-80 near Cedarwood Parkway when the driver lost control of the vehicle on a curve and flipped over in the grass median.
The driver was thrown from the SUV and pronounced dead at the scene.
