Authorities are searching for a man who reportedly violated probation after being convicted for a violent attack on a female.
Junior Dominguez-Martinez, 54, is wanted for violating probation as his current warrant stems from an incident where he reportedly got into a verbal argument with a female that turned violent.
Authorities say Dominguez-Martinez smashed plates on the floor before choking the victim, causing her to pass out.
When the victim regained consciousness, she ran into the garage and locked herself in the car before calling authorities.
When deputies arrived, Dominguez-Martinez was reportedly arrested and sent to the Lee County Jail for seven months and later spent additional time in state prison.
Dominguez-Martinez is now on probation, which authorities say he has violated.
According to reports, Dominguez-Martinez has spent time in prison for two other battery and burglary incidents out of Miami.
Authorities say Dominguez-Martinez is 5 feet, 9 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds, and is on the run.
