Step inside The Celtic Ray Public House in Punta Gorda and you'll feel like you're somewhere in Ireland. "Good Morning Gulf Coast's" Jason Drew took us there this morning to start the St. Patrick's Day shenanigans early.
Owner Kevin Doyle opened the establishment back in 1997. The attention to detail inside the restaurant and bar is impeccable. Even in the kitchen we witnessed the preparations for today's festivities, where they are expecting upwards of ten thousand visitors.
Live bands, corned beef and cabbage, fish and chips, and, of course, a pint of Guinness. The perfect way to toast St. Patrick's Day right here along the Gulf Coast.
