A Cape Coral man was arrested after being accused of threatening a woman with a BB gun during an argument over a parking spot.

The Cape Coral Police Department responded to the scene on SW Pine Island Road on Monday around 11 p.m.
Officers spoke with the woman who reported the dispute who said she parked her car next to another vehicle, and as soon as she opened the door, a man, later identified as Louis Joseph Mazzaro, 42, started yelling and cursing at her from a third-floor balcony.
According to the victim, Mazzaro said, "I'll pop your jaw. Don't make me come down there. I don't care if you're a girl. I will send my daughter."
According to the CCPD press release, Mazzaro left the balcony and came back a few seconds later with what appeared to be a long-barrel gun and demanded she move her car.
She told police Mazzaro said, "I'll pop you right now {expletive}. Move your car."
When she asked Mazzaro if it was a gun, he reportedly said it was a BB and said, "This is not a threat. It's a promise."
The woman then moved her car, went into her apartment and called police.
Investigations revealed that the dispute was centered around Mazzaro feeling the woman parked too close to his car.
Mazzaro reportedly showed officers the BB gun and there were children present in the house during the argument.
Mazzaro was arrested and taken to the Lee County Jail where he is facing on count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.
