Two weeks after her son was shot and killed, a grieving mother is calling for justice.
Marie Aristilde lives across the street from where her firstborn son, 32-year-old Jean Aristilde, was gunned down on March 10 outside homes near South 1st Street and Colorado Avenue. Since then, she says she has barely eaten or slept.
A neighbor translated for Marie, sharing how much she loved Jean — and how much the community cared for him, too.

Now, Marie is urging the Collier County Sheriff’s Office to keep searching for her son’s killer. Deputies and Crime Stoppers are looking for Archange Guillaume, who has been on the run since the murder.
Marie says she doesn’t know Guillaume or why he would have targeted her son. Investigators say Guillaume, who goes by the street name “2 Pac,” is from Broward County and has ties to the Pompano Beach area.
Anyone with information on Guillaume is asked to contact the Collier County Sheriff’s Office or Crime Stoppers for a cash reward.
