The School District of Lee County has opened registration for its Spring Teacher Recruitment Fair taking place in-person on April 26 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Lee County Public Education Center, and virtually on April 30 from 5 to 7 p.m.
During the Fair, District representatives will be available to connect with interested candidates to discuss open classroom positions. School leaders will also be conducting on-the-spot interviews for various positions across all grade levels and subjects.
Lee County is among the largest school districts in Florida and is considered a Critical Shortage Area.
According to the District, it offers competitive pay, benefits and earning opportunities. There will also be a $3,000 relocation bonus offered to new hires who are relocating to the area from outside of Lee County.
To be eligible for a full-time position, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and a valid Florida teaching certificate or out-of-state teaching certificate.
