Northbound US-41 is closed at Little Road after a brush fire sparked just east of the highway north of Littleton Road in North Fort Myers Friday afternoon.
According to the Flordia Forest Service, the fire is 2 acres and 20% contained as of 2:05 p.m.
A Fire Weather Warning, also known as Red Flag Warning, is in effect for Lee, Charlotte and Desoto from 12-8 p.m. on Friday.
Dry, breezy and hot conditions will all contribute to the elevated fire danger, especially the low humidity and higher winds.
