Banded water snakes are nonvenomous. A car ran over this one on the Gulf Coast, but it lived. In “Positively Gulf Coast,” the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife shared how they saved it.
It's CROW’s first snake rescue of the year. The car gave the snake some scrapes and bruises. After someone took it to CROW, the experts there gave it pain and inflammation medication before releasing it this week.
