A man with a long criminal history is wanted for probation violation after initially being arrested at a gas station in Lehigh Acres when deputies say they found him slumped over in his car with drugs inside.
According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, deputies found Ignacio Quezada, 44, slumped behind the wheel of a car in the middle of the afternoon at a gas station.
Once he was awake, deputies said they saw drugs on the seat in plain view, adding that he resisted speaking with them and appeared to be trying to hide something.
During a search, two baggies of fentanyl and several syringes were found in the vehicle.
He was also accused of battery on a female passenger in the car, who had visible injuries.
The man, whose criminal record includes previous charges for fraud, grand theft auto, battery, drug possession, resisting and hit-and-run, will be held without bond.
A new warrant was issued after he failed to follow the conditions of his probation.
