Naples Fire crews worked to extinguish flames that sparked inside a Florida Power and Light vault along Gulfshore Boulevard North Monday night.
According to the Naples Fire-Rescue District, FPL shut off power starting with the intersection of Pine Ridge Road and U.S.-41 and everything south of that intersection.
FPL's power tracker map shows 318 customers have been affected in the Moorings area as of 10:27 p.m.
According to FPL's site, the outage was reported at 7:57 p.m. and a power restoration specialist is in the area working to restore power.
