A man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison for killing one person and injuring another in a 2022 shooting outside a Mexican restaurant and bar in Lee County.
Hector Edgardo Perdomo, 26, shot and killed Alfredo Aragon Arvea and injured another during an incident in a parking lot of El Patron Mexican Restaurant and Bar on Palm Beach Boulevard on Nov. 13, 2022.
He was later found in Slidell, Louisiana, and taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service.
Perdomo was sentenced on Tuesday to 40 years in prison with a 25-year minimum for second-degree murder with a firearm, 30 years with a 20-year minimum for attempted second-degree murder, and 5 years for aggravated assault with a firearm. The sentences will run concurrently.
