Collier County Sheriff’s Office detectives seized fentanyl from a man at a traffic stop on Tuesday.
Kevin Dylan Jensen, a 31-year-old man from Naples, was arrested during a traffic stop after a CCSO K-9 alerted to the presence of narcotics after doing a free-air smell search around Jensen's car.
According to CCSO, Jensen was stopped at approximately 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of Pine Ridge Road and Napa Boulevard.
During the search, officers found 47.5 grams of fentanyl, cocaine, $2,357 in cash and drug paraphernalia.
Jensen was charged with trafficking in fentanyl over 28 grams and possession of cocaine. He was taken to the Collier County jail.
The CCSO also charged Jensen with an additional charge of fentanyl trafficking 4 grams or more and four counts of selling fentanyl.
The charges come from undercover drug buys done by CCSO detectives in February and March, during which Jensen sold them 13 grams of fentanyl.
The CCSO says this is an ongoing investigation.
