Get ready to celebrate our planet. Earth Day is just around the corner, and the Conservancy of Southwest Florida is getting ready to host its annual Earth Day Festival, presented by Bronco Wild Fund and your Local Ford Dealers.
Lori Heath Thorn, along with Fozzie, joined Gulf Coast News to break down this upcoming event. It's happening Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This no-cost, family-friendly event features food trucks, face painting, arts and crafts, games, Glen Beitman’s Super Science Show, boat rides, animal encounters, vendors and special presentations.
Admission to the Earth Day Festival is free. The event will take place on the Conservancy campus and at the Nature Center, located at 1495 Smith Preserve Way in Naples. Food trucks will be on-site for dining.
Festival attendees will also have the opportunity to visit with several of the Conservancy’s environmental partners, including Audubon of the Western Everglades, Big Cypress National Preserve, Captains for Clean Water and the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation.
