A person dressed as the Easter Bunny was attacked on Sunday at a Southwest Florida mall by three teenagers, prompting police to arrest two of the teens and issue a civil citation to the third.
According to the Naples Police Department, officers responded to a disturbance at Coastland Center on April 6, involving a 24-year-old woman who was wearing an Easter Bunny costume for a mall event, employed by the mall.
She told police that while returning to the break room, three juveniles confronted her and began to push, shove, and pull at her costume.
Another person who witnessed the attack also told police what had happened.
Officers arrested two of the juveniles on misdemeanor battery charges. The third was issued a Juvenile Civil Citation, also for misdemeanor battery. The teens are 13 and 14 years old.
