Fort Myers police have released new information in the 2006 kidnapping case of Bryan Dos Santos-Gomes, who was abducted as a baby and made national headlines.
Bryan Dos Santos-Gomes, known as "Baby Bryan", went missing just four weeks after he was born.
In December 2006, Bryan's mother said she and a friend and their babies got into a black SUV with a Hispanic woman who had stopped to ask for directions. While in Fort Myers, Bryan's mother said the woman pulled out a knife and forced her friend and her friend's baby out of the vehicle.
The woman drove south to Estero and eventually forced Bryan's mother out of the vehicle as well, taking off with Baby Bryan inside.
An age progression photo has been released , showing what Bryan may look like at 18 years old.
Investigators say Bryan could be anywhere, but they are sending this new image across the world in hopes of finding him.
They also revealed a new voice recording of the woman believed to have kidnapped him, making a phone call from Bryan's mother's phone.
The kidnapper's voice was enhanced by the Secret Service, and investigators hope someone will recognize the voice in the new recording.
The kidnapper told Bryan's mother and her friend that she lived in the Tampa area, had an 11-day-old son named Jose Guadeloupe, and that her husband was a truck driver. Investigators do not believe any friends or family are involved.
