Local wildlife removal expert Seth Brattain is heading off to audition for "Shark Tank" for his invention, the Critter Master Pro Trap.
It catches cane toads, snakes, invasive lizards, rats, scorpions, cockroaches and more.
Brattain said his product allows the animals caught inside to have a high survival rate.
“Our glue trays, the glue is thicker and it's on a plastic tray, so when you spray the oil-based substance on it, it's easier to create the glue and set the animal free,” said Brattain.
The product has been so successful that Brattain said he can’t keep up with the demand.
“I've got pest control supply companies who want to buy it, buy the pallets. I literally cannot afford to mass-produce it. So, I am going to try and get on 'Shark Tank,' to find somebody with deeper pockets to support it,” said Brattain.
Brattain doesn't get to meet the sharks just yet. He's auditioning for the show on Friday, to see if he makes the cut.
“I won't be fully excited until I know for a fact that I'm going to be in front of the sharks, offering my offer to them. My game plan right now is just do the best that I can for the 60-second pitch that I get for the open casting,” said Brattain.
