Composer Frazar Henry writes music to blend the instruments of a symphony together in beautiful harmony.
His latest work, "Seas of Glass," was performed by the Gulf Coast Symphony at its 30th anniversary concert.
Perhaps the most stunning fact about Henry is that he's just 19 years old.
"I started composing when I was 5," Henry said. "Eventually, my mom told me that I could write the music down with the note names. I started doing that all of the time."
"Seas of Glass" reflects Frazar's personal journey.
"The idea of the ocean and the tide sort of turned into a metaphor for uncertainty in the world. Also for myself going off to college," Henry said.
While Henry is still so young, he's wise enough to know that every high note must be earned, and every low note gives depth to the melody of the journey.
"There's hope within uncertainty," Henry said.
