On April 6, the search for Broward County 35-year-old mother of three Libby Ann Dibenedetto has finally been solved after being missing since 2000.
Libby was reported missing following a night out with friends at Duke's Bar and Grill in Davie. She never returned to the home in Sunrise that she shared with her mother.
She went missing after just finalizing a divorce.
The night of her disappearance, Libby's last known action was making a phone call to her therapist from a payphone.
After a two-and-a-half year long search, the Sunshine State Sonar along with officials, located Dibenedetto's vehicle and skeletal remains submerged in a small pond near intersection of W. Sunrise Blvd. And N. Flamingo Rd in Plantation.
