A 12-year-old boy was flown to the hospital after what officials are calling a suspected shark bite in Cocoa Beach on Sunday.
According to Brevard County Fire Rescue, emergency services arrived at the scene along East Cocoa Beach Causeway shortly after 12:30 p.m.
The boy was airlifted to the trauma center at a hospital in Orlando for treatment.
