Three people are accused of pretending to be part of a religious group and stealing thousands of dollars in jewelry and an unknown amount of cash from a home in Bonita Springs on Thursday.
According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, the theft occurred around 6:45 p.m. on April 10 on Carolina Street. The suspects approached the homeowner and said they wanted to pray.
While two suspects kept the homeowner occupied, they say a third woman entered the home and took $3,500 in jewelry, along with an undetermined amount of cash.
The suspect then sneaked out a side door and left in a white vehicle.
Crime Stoppers is asking for your help in identifying the suspects, two of whom were caught on a home surveillance camera.
