A Lee County woman has been sentenced to prison for sexual activities involving animals.
Samantha White, 28, was arrested in February 2024 after Lee County deputies discovered she had sexual intercourse with the family dog several times.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office also arrested her husband, John White, who is accused of recording her committing the sexual acts.
Samantha White was found guilty and sentenced to three years in prison, followed by three years of probation. She was also ordered to have no possession of animals or live with any animals during her probation.
She was also put on the Animal Abuser Registry. Officials said this tracks any person who has been convicted of a felony and/or misdemeanor involving animal abuse and cruelty offenses.
Samantha White was also ordered to pay court costs and the cost of prosecution.
