The Cape Coral Police Department is holding an event to participate in National Drug Take Back Day on Saturday.
The national day , created by the Drug Enforcement Administration, is about disposing of unneeded medications to help prevent medication misuse and opioid addiction. The goal is to dispose of medication safely so that it won't get into the wrong hands.
Cape Coral Police will be holding its Take Back Day event on April 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cape Coral Police Department.
