If you just bought pork carnitas from Aldi, you should be aware.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture issued a public health alert on fully cooked pork carnitas that may be contaminated with pieces of metal.
The food was made by Cargill Meat Solutions and distributed at Aldi stores nationwide.
They are currently not being sold in the stores anymore. However, if you already bought them, the sell-by dates are June 30 or July 1.
If you have this contaminated product, you should throw it away or return it to the store.
