State troopers arrested two men who've been accused of street racing for going more than 100 miles per hour on State Road 82 on Sunday.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Marcos Alvarino Echemendia, 23, and Sander Brun, 24, were both arrested and face reckless driving and street racing charges.
Due to Florida statute, both vehicles used in the race will be impounded for 30 business days.
According to Lee County Sheriff's Office records, both drivers have been released on bond.
