A nonprofit is breaking down barriers for people who are looking for a second chance.
For its fifth consecutive year, Better Together is hosting a series of background-friendly job fairs throughout April. It's part of the organization's Second Chance Month.
The initiative brings churches, volunteers, businesses, and nonprofits together. It's a game-changer for people facing barriers like incarceration, homelessness, and lack of transportation or unreliable child care.
The next job fair in Southwest Florida is happening on April 29 at Riverside Church in Fort Myers.
