Lee County Clerk and Comptroller Kevin Karnes is urging property owners to register for the Clerk’s Property Fraud Alert.
Karnes says this comes after a recent arrest and other property fraud-related incidents.
The Lee Clerk's Office launched the Property Fraud Alert service in 2019. It has more than 60,000 Lee County property owners registered.
Clerk Karnes encourages all residential and commercial property owners to register as soon as possible if they haven't already. You can sign up on the Lee County Clerk of Court website .
